Egypt's Foreign Minister (FM) Sameh Shoukry held, on Tuesday, an expanded session of talks with the Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Commerce, Peter Siarto, according to Foreign Ministry spokesman Ahmed Abu Zaid.
The talks touched on in-depth discussions on all files of bilateral relations and joint cooperation within the framework of the strategic partnership between Egypt and Hungary, and an exchange of visions on regional and international issues of common concern.
On Tuesday, Shoukry headed Monday to the Hungarian capital, Budapest, in an official visit.
In a statement, Egypt's Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed that this visit aims to strengthen and support bilateral relations between both countries.
