Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigration, Dr. Badr Abdel Aty, and the Commissioner-General of UNRWA, Philippe Lazzarini held a session of talks on Monday.
The official spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Immigration, Ambassador Ahmed Abu Zeid, said that the talks addressed ways to support the agency’s work and humanitarian relief efforts in the Gaza Strip, and the challenges of the humanitarian situation within the Strip.
Minister Abdel Aty and the Commissioner-General of UNRWA are scheduled to hold a joint press conference following the talks.
