Egypt's Foreign Minister (FM) Badr Abdel Atty held a phone conversation with Touhid Hossain, Foreign Affairs Advisor to Bangladesh's interim government.
During the phone call, Abdel Atty conveyed Egypt's best wishes to new Bangladeshi government in its efforts to restore political and economic stability in the country.
Abdel Atty also expressed Egypt's appreciation for the strong and distinguished relations between Egypt and Bangladesh, which have fostered closeness between the two peoples and alignment on numerous international issues of mutual interest.
Moreover, FM reaffirmed Egypt's commitment to strengthening cooperation with Bangladesh across various sectors in the coming period, to further enhance relations between the two countries and serve the interests of their friendly peoples.
