First Lady: Pleased to Celebrate 'Iconic Egyptian Woman'

First Lady Entissar El Sisi expressed her pleasure at attending the celebration of “The Iconic Egyptian Woman."

"I was pleased today to attend the celebration “The Iconic Egyptian Woman”, marking the International Women's Day, amid an outstanding elite of the honorable and inspiring great women of Egypt," the First Lady said.

"The celebration confirms that the woman is the cornerstone of our nation and that the progress and promotion of any society is closely connected to the level of its women’s awareness and culture,' she stressed.

She added that women’s rights have become a reality thanks to Egypt’s efforts as well as efforts by Egypt’s women and ladies in science, their work and their genius in bearing the sacred trust and responsibility of caring for their families and bringing up their children.
