Fire Breaks out in Railway Station in Alexandria

Today, a number of stalls and vendors' shops of a commercial market in Misr station in Alexandria caught fire without any injuries.

The Security Directorate in Alexandria indicated that the assistant Minister of Interior, Major General Sami Ghoneim, received a notification stating that a fire broke out in a number of stalls and shops, on the "tram" rails at Misr station.

The security forces and the civil protection department, accompanied by ambulances, rushed to the station, where the fire was controlled and extinguished.

The fire led to the burning of a number of shops and stalls in the market, without causing any casualties; it was found in the initial investigation that the fire was caused by a "fuse", the public prosecution office is completing the investigation.
