Fashion Designer Abed Mahfouz Raises Lebanon Flag at Paris Fashion Week

Lebanese international fashion designer Abed Mahfouz, who was honored by UNESCOUNESCO in recognition of outstanding contribution efforts in the fashion world, participated at the Paris Fashion Week in the French capital, Paris for the second year in a row.

He dazzled the attendee fashion lovers at the fashion week with his wedding dress collection, which was presented at the Louvre.

Mahfouz’s wedding dress collection for 2020 includes 20 distinguished styles that featured different colors than the bride's traditional white dress as well as varied between golden, silver, ivory, and beige— all designed in lavish fabrics such as lace, zibeline, and organza.

The dresses were also decorated with soft and elegant embroidery, studded with Swarovski crystal stones and transparent crystal, as well as featured silver chains that was dropped down vertically to the chest and the dress pocket, which will give the wearer a glamorous luster and in rhythm with the jewels, a look which was embodied in the dresses with a refined luster that will add magic and gave it a lush during the wedding.

The persity of the skirt styles had also drawn attention, which varied between the wide skirt as well as the short.

Moreover, the short-sleeved chest dress, as well as the bare shoulder dress, had made an appearance.

The emergence of the short wedding dresses affirms the satisfactory of the taste of the modern bride who loves to appear with an unfamiliar look than the ones we are used to, however, despite its modernity; Mahfouz’s bride has kept a stylish, classical look.

In conjunction with the situation in Lebanon, Mahfouz has raised the Lebanese flag at the show, which drew sharp applause from the audiences of different nationalities.
