On Sunday, the jury members of Farouk Hosny Photography award announced the standards of evaluating the participated works in the third edition of the foundation's art awards, in addition to selecting the qualified participants for the following stage of the competition.
Furthermore, the criteria of selecting the qualified participants based on creativity, the lighting techniques, aesthetic composition, and direction.
Regarding the number of participants, 173 young photographer came from 21 governorates and a total of 494 photos were submitted.
The jury of the Photography award included the iconic DOP Onsi Abu Seif, CEO of the Arts and Culture Complex Dr. Ashraf Reda, artist Ayman Lotfi, artist Emad Abdel Hady, and artist Ayman Nassar.
The total value of the prize is EGP 100,000; EGP 50.000 for the first place, EGP 30.000 for the second one, and EGP 20.000 for the third. In addition, there are a number of honorary certificates for unique projects.
It is worth mentioning that the registration for partaking in the third edition of Farouk Hosny Photography Award started on September 1st and concluded on 1st November on the foundation's official website.
