The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts hot weather to extremely hot weather will prevail in most parts of the country during Wednesday's daylight hours.
Moderately hot weather is also expected to prevail in the Northwest Coast.
The country also witnesses mist, extending into fog, on the agricultural and highway roads from the north of the country to Cairo, Canal Cities, North Upper Egypt, and Central Sinai.
Meteorologists also predict that Egypt will continue experiencing a gradual rise in temperature, with the heatwave peaking during the 48 hours.
Wind speeds of between 25 and 30 kilometres per hour (km/h) are expected to affect the Northwest Coast and the Western Sahara.
Light rainfall is predicted to prevail in the Northwest Coast at an intermittent period.
Furthermore, the Mediterranean Sea will experience moderate waves, ranging between 1.5 and 2.25 meters in height with northeast surface winds.
Waves in the Red Sea will be low to moderate, ranging between 1 and 2 meters in height varying between southeast and northwest surface winds.
Moderate weather is also expected to prevail in Egypt at night, becoming moderately cold towards the end of the night.
The predicted temperatures for the following cities are 33°C in Cairo, 26°C in Alexandria, 23°C in Marsa Matruh, 35°C in Sohag, 35°C in Qena, and 36°C in Aswan.
