The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts extremely hot weather will prevail in most parts of the country during Thursday's daylight hours.
Hot weather is also expected to prevail in the Northwest Coast.
The country also witnesses mist, extending into fog, on the agricultural and highway roads from the north of the country to Cairo, Canal Cities, Central Sinai, and North Upper Egypt.
Wind speeds of between 30 and 35 kilometres per hour (km/h) are expected to occasionally occur in Cairo, North Coast, Lower Egypt, Western Sahara, North Upper Egypt, and South Sinai, stirring sand and dust in some areas.
Meteorologists also predict that Egypt will experience a gradual rise in temperature.
Furthermore, the Mediterranean Sea will experience moderate to turbulent waves, ranging between 1.5 and 2.5 meters in height varying between southwest and northwest surface winds.
Waves in the Red Sea will be moderate, ranging between 1.5 and 2 meters in height varying between northwest and northeast surface winds.
Moderate weather is also expected to prevail in Egypt at night and in the early morning.
The predicted temperatures for the following cities are 39°C in Cairo, 31°C in Alexandria, 26°C in Marsa Matruh, 42°C in Sohag, 42°C in Qena, and 43°C in Aswan.
