The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts extremely hot weather to prevail in Cairo, Lower Egypt, South Sinai, and South of the country, during daylight hours on Thursday.
Hot weather is also expected to hit the North Coast.
Winds will occur occasionally across the country
There is also a 30 chance of light rain, thunderous sometimes, prevailing in South Upper Egypt and south of the Red Sea mountain ranges.
Furthermore, the Mediterranean Sea will experience low to moderate waves, ranging between 1 and 1.5 meters in height with northeast surface winds.
The Red Sea will experience moderate waves, ranging between 1.5 and 2.25 meters in height with northeast surface winds.
Moreover, pleasant weather is also expected to prevail from the north of the country to the north of Upper Egypt, at night.
Moderate weather is also expected to hit South Sinai and the South of the country.
Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 36°C in Cairo, 32°C in Alexandria, 31°C in Marsa Matruh, 42°C in Sohag, 44°C in Qena, and 45°C in Aswan.
