Excessive Heat, Humidity Prevails across Egypt on Thursday, Cairo 39°C

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts extremely hot and humid weather to prevail in most parts of the country, during daylight hours on Thursday.

Hot and humid weather is also predicted to hit the North Coast.

The experts also foresaw the country will continue experiencing a 2:3 increase in the temperature.

Winds will be active across the country. 

Furthermore, the Mediterranean Sea will experience low to moderate waves, ranging between 1 and 1.5 meters in height with northwest surface winds.

Waves in the Red Sea will be low to moderate, ranging between 1 and 1.25 meters in height varying between southwestern and northwest surface winds.

Moreover, most parts of the country will experience moderately hot and humid weather at nighttime.

Moderate and humid weather is also predicted to prevail in the North Coast.

Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 39°C in Cairo, 32°C in Alexandria, 31°C in Marsa Matruh, 41°C in Sohag, 42°C in Qena, and 43°C in Aswan.
