European Union (EU) foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas reaffirmed the EU's unwavering support for the Lebanese people and the newly formed government in rebuilding state institutions.
Meanwhile, EU Ambassador to Lebanon, Sandra De Waele, expressed the Union’s support for Prime Minister Nawaf Salam’s government. Writing on her official X account on Saturday, De Waele stated, "We express our support for Lebanon’s new government."
De Waele also welcomed Salam’s commitment to a reform agenda, emphasizing, "Reforms are essential for Lebanon’s future. We will continue to support the country and rely on all officials not only to adopt these reforms but also to implement them."
