EU Imposes Sanctions on 5 Individuals, 2 Institutions in Iran

On Monday, the European Union imposed new sanctions on Iran, which included 5 people and two institutions.

The Iranian agency "irna", reported that the sanctions approved by the Council of Foreign Ministers of the EU included student mobilization and the Cooperation Institution of the Revolutionary Guards.

The sanctions also included Salman Adeneh Vand, the Commander of the Relief Unit of the Tehran Police, Nadir Moradi, the Deputy Commander of the Place Police in Tehran, Saeed Muntadhar Al Mahdi, the Spokesman for the Internal Security Forces Command, Sayyid Muhammad Aqa Miri, the Secretary of the Supreme Council for Virtual Space, and Mohsen Nikors, the Prosecutor General of Sirjan, Kerman Province in Southern Iran
