The European Union expressed its deep concern over the escalation of tensions in Israel and the occupied Palestinian territories.
"The recent Israeli military operation in Jenin included the largest air raids on the city in decades, leaving at least ten Palestinians dead and dozens wounded." European union said in a statement on Wednesday.
The statement added, "The European Union condemns the attacks of Israeli settlers against the Palestinians and affirms that all these incidents remind of the fragility of the situation on the ground in the absence of prospects for a political solution."
