Ethiopian PM Visits Turkey, Meets Erdogan

Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed arrived in the Turkish capital, Ankara, on an official visit, according to the account of the Ethiopian Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Twitter.

Ahmed is scheduled to meet Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, to discuss a number of bilateral files between the two countries and many regional issues of common interest.

Turkish "Anadolu" news agency published a video featuring Erdoğan welcoming Ahmed with an official ceremony at the Presidential Complex.

Earlier this month, the Ethiopian government cancelled the ceasefire decision in Tigray and ordered the army to take any action against the Tigray People’s Liberation Front.

The Ethiopian Prime Minister urged citizens to join the army amid the ongoing war against the Tigray People’s Liberation Front.
