First Lady Entissar El Sisi paid Friday a special tribute to the elderly on the International Day of Older Persons, pointing out that older persons "have a long history of giving and contributions."
"We are proud of the International Day of Older Persons on which we express our appreciation for the previous generations, who have a long history of giving, for their contribution to the country’s development," she wrote on her official social media accounts.
Mrs. Sisi added that "We emphasize the state’s continuous care for the elderly and keenness to meet their requirements and offer them various means of support."
