Turkish First Lady Emine Erdoğan said she hopes her visit to Egypt will help strengthen bridges of goodwill between Cairo and Ankara and open the way for “better shared days” between the two countries.

In a post published on X following the visit, Emine Erdoğan expressed hope that the trip would contribute to deepening mutual understanding and reinforcing positive relations between Cairo and Ankara. She said the visit reflected a spirit of rapprochement and cooperation, pointing to the importance of people-to-people and cultural ties alongside official diplomacy.

Her remarks accompanied photos and moments from meetings and tours held during her stay in Cairo, including joint engagements with Egypt’s First Lady Entissar El-Sisi, the wife of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.

The visit took place as part of the official trip by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan to Egypt, accompanied by a high-level delegation, and came amid growing political and diplomatic engagement between the two countries.
