The Embassy of India in Cairo is organizing an exclusive event, "Know & Connect with India’s Startup Ecosystem," on February 25, 2025, to foster collaboration and engagement between Egypt’s entrepreneurial ecosystem and India’s thriving startup landscape.
This initiative aims to introduce Egyptian ministerial groups, venture capitalists, universities, and startups to Startup Mahakumbh, India’s premier startup event, set to take place from April 3 to 5, 2025.
The event will provide insights into opportunities for investment, innovation, and partnerships, encouraging Egyptian stakeholders to actively participate in Startup Mahakumbh, where they can explore cutting-edge technologies, connect with global investors, and expand their business horizons.
During the "Know & Connect with India’s Startup Ecosystem" event, key discussions will highlight the major features and opportunities of Startup Mahakumbh 2025.
Attendees will learn about the participation of over 1,300 startups across diverse sectors, including AI & SaaS, Fintech, Biotech & Pharma, B2B & Manufacturing, Agritech, DeepTech, D2C, Gaming & E-sports, and Climate Tech.
Discussions will also emphasize the benefits of participation in Startup Mahakumbh, including opportunities for ministerial delegations to engage with India's innovation ecosystem, positioning countries as leaders in global innovation, and facilitating structured B2B and B2G meetings for trade, investment, and partnership exploration.
The "Know & Connect with India’s Startup Ecosystem" event will bring together senior officials from the Ministry of Planning, Economic Development and International Cooperation, the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
The event will also host esteemed VIP guests from leading Egyptian and Indian startup companies, fostering high-level discussions on innovation, investment, and collaboration opportunities between the two nations.
