The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) has announced that today, Monday marks the last day of the extreme cold wave affecting the country last week.
Warm weather is also predicted to prevail in most parts of the country during the daylight hours.
Hot weather is also expected to hit the South of the country.
Winds will occur occasionally across the country.
The country will also witness mist, extending into fog, on agricultural and highway roads in Cairo, Lower Egypt, Canal Cities, North Coast, and North Upper Egypt.
Furthermore, the Mediterranean Sea will experience low to moderate waves, ranging between 1 and 1.5 meters varying between northeast and southwest.
The Red Sea will experience moderate waves, ranging between 1.5 and 2.5 meters varying between northeast and northwest.
Cold weather is also expected to prevail in Egypt in the early hours and at the end of the nighttime.
The predicted temperatures for the following cities are 25°C in Cairo, 24°C in Alexandria, 23°C in Marsa Matruh, 29°C in Sohag, 32°C in Qena, and 33°C in Aswan.
