EMA: Egypt Faces Hot, Humid Weather on Saturday, Cairo 35°C

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts hot and humid weather to prevail in Cairo, Lower Egypt, and North Coast, during daylight hours on Saturday.

Extremely hot weather is also expected to hit South Sinai and the South of the country.

Wind will be active across the country.

Furthermore, the Mediterranean Sea will experience moderate waves, ranging between 1.5 and 2.25 meters in height with northwest surface winds.

Waves in the Red Sea will be moderate to turbulent, ranging between 2 and 3 meters with northwest surface winds.

Meanwhile, moderate weather is predicted to prevail across the country, at night.

Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 35°C in Cairo, 30°C in Alexandria, 29°C in Matruh, 39°C in Sohag, 39°C in Qena, and 41°C in Aswan.
