The actor set to play Elvis Presley in his upcoming biopic for Warner Bros. has been revealed.
American actor and singer, Austin Butler, who starred in TV shows “The Carrie Diaries” and “Arrow”, is set to play Presley in the biopic.
Butler confirmed the news with a post on his official “Instagram” account on Monday.

It’s also been announced that American actor and filmmaker Tom Hanks will co-star in the film as Presley’s manager, Colonel Tom Parker.
The Warner Bros. film, which is yet to be titled, will be directed by Australian writer, Baz Luhrmann, who had written the script alongside Australian screenwriter, Craig Pearce.
Former One Direction member Harry Styles, Ansel Elgort and Miles Teller, had been rumored to be in the running for the role.
