SpaceX CEO Elon Musk released on Friday a footage of a monkey with a brain-chip playing a simple video game after getting implants of his new technology "Neuralink".
Male macaques, with chips built into each side of their brain, play "Mind Pong". It was trained to move the joystick simply by thinking of moving its hand up or down.
"The new Neuralink product will enable someone with paralysis to use a smartphone with their mind faster than someone using thumbs," Musk wrote in a tweet.
“Later versions will enable paraplegics to walk again as the device is implanted flush with skull & charges wirelessly,” he added.

Neuralink works by decoding electrical signals from the brain using more than 2,000 electrodes implanted that coordinates with hand and arm movements.
The new technology, which was invented in 2016 aims to implant wireless brain computer chips to help cure neurological conditions like Alzheimer’s, dementia and spinal cord injuries using artificial intelligence.
