On Monday, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi affirmed his close monitoring of the positive developments in the ongoing negotiations aimed at establishing a comprehensive ceasefire in Gaza.

Speaking via the "X" platform, President El-Sisi called on all parties involved to intensify their efforts to reach an agreement that would end the humanitarian crisis affecting the Palestinian people and facilitate the exchange of hostages and prisoners.

The Egyptian leader emphasized the importance of a negotiated resolution that could bring relief to Gaza. He highlighted Egypt’s role in mediating peace efforts and its continuous support for stability in the region. "We are committed to achieving a peaceful settlement that respects the rights and aspirations of the Palestinian people," El-Sisi stated.

This initiative is part of Egypt's broader strategy to promote peace in the Middle East and follows a series of discussions with international partners to support an effective ceasefire agreement.

The world watches as Egypt takes a central role in facilitating dialogues that aim to mitigate the long-standing conflict in Gaza, underscoring its position as a pivotal peace broker in the region.

As negotiations continue, the international community remains hopeful that President El-Sisi’s recent interventions will lead to a significant breakthrough that will secure peace and stability for the people of Gaza.
