Five-time World Champion Nour El Sherbini claimed the 2021 British Open women’s singles title after defeating world no. 2 ranking Nouran Gohar in the final.

The British Open Squash tournament took place in Hull from the 16th to the 22nd of August with a prize pool of $175K.

Nour who recently claimed her fifth World Championship went into the tournament aiming to win her third British Open title and widen the points gap between her and Gohar.

El Sherbini qualified for the final by overcoming United States’ Amanda Sobhy in the semi-finals 3-0 in what seemed to be a comfortable win.
