El-Feki Announces 16th Edition of Bibliotheca Alexandrina Book Fair Launching

The Bibliotheca Alexandrina announced the launch date of the sixteenth edition of its International Book Fair, from Monday 16, to Monday 30 August 2021, in cooperation with the Egyptian General Book Authority and the Egyptian and Arab Publishers Association. It also includes the participation of a large number of Egyptian and Arab publishing houses.

Dr. Moustafa El-Feki, Director of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, called on members of the Publishers Association to participate in the fair organized by the Bibliotheca Alexandrina annually, in which major Egyptian and Arab publishing houses take part.

It is worth noting that the fair comes this year amid exceptional circumstances, and the Bibliotheca Alexandrina administration decided in this regard to conduct the activities of the cultural program for this session through digital interaction, due to its keenness on community safety, and its commitment to all precautionary measures to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus.

This year's cultural program has a number of different seminars and meetings with thinkers and intellectuals from Egypt and the Arab world.
