El Dabaa Nuclear Power to Obtain Building Approval from ENRRA Soon

The Nuclear Power Plants Authority (NPPA) in Egypt will obtain the building approval and construction permits for its first two units at the El Dabaa Nuclear Power Plant fairly soon, according to international reports.

A statement from a Russian State Atomic Energy Corporation (ROSATOM) said that NPPA has successfully submitted all the necessary documents to National Nuclear and Radiological Regulatory Authority (ENRRA) in order to obtain the construction permits and the building licenses for its first two units at the El Dabaa Nuclear Power Plant.

The authority also has achieved a significant improvement in the process of obtaining a construction permit, according to ROSATOM.

It's worth mentioning that El Dabaa nuclear power plant (NPP) will be Egypt's first nuclear power plant.
