El Ahly achieved an easy victory against Cano Sport, smashing Equatoguinean football club with four clean goals on Saturday. The win earns the Red giants a place in the quarter finals of the CAF African Cup of Nations against an group still to be decided.
The match was very one sided, as El Ahly could have scored a lot more goals if they took it seriously, Cano Sport spent the majority of the match trying to escape their own midfield, but with no avail.

El Ahly now await the group stages draw in order to decide on which group they will go up against, as the Red Giants will hope to regain their favorite championship after a depressing effort last season.
