A source in the French police announced that the Eiffel Tower in Paris was closed to the public, on Saturday, after it was evacuated as part of precautionary measures, following a "bomb threat".
The security alert led to the evacuation of 3 floors of the tower located in central Paris , the most prominent tourist attraction in France, which attracted 6.2 million visitors last year.
