Egypt's Youth Team's Clash Vs. Tunisia Cancelled

The North African Federation Medical Committee, which is responsible for the qualifying tournament for the U20 African Nations Cup, decided to cancel the Pharaohs clash against Tunisia that was due to take place today at 15:00 CLT.

The Committee took the decision after the exclusion of a player in the Egyptian team squad, as the regulation of the tournament says that the squad of the team should include fifteen players, including two goalkeepers,

On his part, the media coordinator for the Egyptian Team Walid Maher said that negotiations are currently taking place between the head of the medical committee, the North African Federation and the secretary of the Confederation of the African Football to find a solution for the crisis.

The Pharaohs had previously announced their starting line-up for the clash.

The Starting Line-up is as follows: 

Goalkeepers: Hamza Alaa.

Defenders: Ahmed Hossam, Hossam Abdel Magid, Mohamed Ashraf, Ahmed Eid.

Midfielders: El Araby, Ahmed Nabil Koka, Rashad Metwil.

Forwards: Zyad Farag, Youssef Hassan, Ahmed Sheriff.
