On the sidelines of the World Travel Market Forum 2021 "WTM", CEO of Egypt's Tourism Promotion Authority Amr ElQadi participated in several meetings with a number of British travel agents and specialized tour operators during his visit to London.

In a bid to promote Egyptian tourism, the Egyptian official held fruitful meetings that allowed the tourism stakeholders to discuss and reach effective proposals on a number of issues concerning substantive tourism and traveling aspects as well as promotion working methods and which could be accommodated during this world event.

He also highlighted the prospective opportunities to facilitate and foster the movement of tourists and conduct joint events and studies for the promotion of Egyptian tourism in the UK.

In the same context, several media and press meetings were held with the British and international media as well as travel agents and specialized tour operators in order to help the British citizens figure Egypt out.

It’s expected that Guided tours called "Fram Trips" will be organized jointly by the officials of British travel agents and Tour Director, alongside the Egyptian Tourism Authority. Moreover, these trips and activities will provide an opportunity for tourism industry players from UK to get the latest information on traveling to Egypt.

It’s worth mentioning that the latest decision about removing Egypt from the red list of travel as well as the recent promotional activities in the UK such as (CO- Marketing) campaign have resulted in a rapid growth in arrivals from Great Britain.
