Egypt’s Shoukry Probes Fostering Bilateral Co-op with Slovenian Counterpart

Minister of Foreign Affairs Sameh Shoukry discussed in a telephone call with Slovenia’s Minister of European and Foreign Affairs Tanja Fajon ways to boost economic and trade cooperation between the two countries. 

According to a statement by the foreign ministry, FM Shoukry also shared with his Slovenian counterpart Egypt’s assessment and vision on the latest developments in the Arab and African arenas, with special focus on the situation in Sudan, the Palestinian cause, and conditions in Libya.

According to The Observatory of Economic Complexity, Egyptian exports to Slovenia have increased at an annual rate of 11.5 percent from $19.1 million in 1995 to $320 million in 2021.
