Egypt’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Badr Abdel Aaty, held a phone call on Sunday, with Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah to congratulate him on assuming his new post as Foreign Minister of the State of Kuwait.
During the call, Abdel Aaty expressed his best wishes for success in carrying out the responsibilities of the position, reaffirming the depth of the fraternal and historic relations between Egypt and Kuwait. He stressed that these ties enjoy special attention and support from President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and His Highness the Amir Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
The Egyptian foreign minister emphasized the shared commitment of both countries to further develop bilateral relations across various fields and to implement the directives of their respective leaderships in a manner that serves the mutual interests of the two brotherly peoples.
Both sides also agreed on the importance of maintaining close consultation and coordination in the coming period on regional and international issues of common concern, with the aim of supporting regional security and stability and strengthening joint Arab action.
