Egypt's Embassy in UAE Marks 72nd Anniv. of 23rd July Revolution

The Egyptian Embassy in the UAE hosted a reception to celebrate the 72nd anniversary of the 23rd July Revolution.

The reception took place at the InterContinental Abu Dhabi and was attended by Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, and Khalifa Shaheen Al Marar, Minister of State, Sharif Mahmoud Said Eissa, Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the UAE, along with a number of Arab and foreign ambassadors accredited to the UAE as well as Egyptian citizens residing in the UAE.

During the event, the Egyptian Ambassador emphasized the strong and enduring relationship between the United Arab Emirates and Egypt, highlighting the UAE's unwavering support for the Egyptian people during challenging times.

He also mentioned the recent high-level reciprocal visits and coordination meetings between the two countries, leading to significant cooperation initiatives.

Additionally, he noted the substantial growth in direct Emirati investments in Egypt, totaling nearly $70 billion, solidifying the UAE's position as the top investor in Egypt. The bilateral trade volume has also exceeded $4 billion annually, indicating the strengthening economic ties between the two nations.
