The Egyptian Embassy in Mali successfully facilitated the return of two Egyptian citizens who were stranded in the town of Kéniaba, located approximately 350 kilometers from the capital, Bamako.

The operation was carried out following intensive coordination with Malian authorities and the Malian Air Force.

This effort is part of the embassy’s ongoing daily monitoring of the Egyptian community in Mali, ensuring their safety and providing assistance whenever needed.

The Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, through its embassy in Bamako, renewed its appeal to all Egyptian nationals residing in or visiting Mali to strictly comply with local laws and regulations, carry valid identification documents at all times, and exercise maximum caution. Citizens were also advised to avoid travel outside the capital or between other cities and regions at this time to ensure their safety.
