Under the patronage of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, the first international symposium, organized by the General Secretariat for Fatwa Authorities Worldwide under the auspices of Egypt’s Dar Al-Ifta, has commenced at Al-Azhar Conference Center under the theme "Fatwa and Achieving Intellectual Security.”
The two-day event, to be held on December 15-16, brings together leading scholars and muftis from around the world to emphasize the role of fatwas in promoting intellectual security and addressing contemporary challenges. The symposium aims to foster international cooperation and develop modern fatwa methodologies that contribute to stability and sustainable development. This initiative reflects Dar Al-Ifta’s ongoing efforts to promote moderation, strengthen the values of tolerance and coexistence, and combat extremism on a global scale.
