Egypt's Covid-19 Tests Come Back Negative Before Cameroon Clash

The entire Egypt national team squad has tested negative for Covid-19 ahead of their semi-finals clash against Cameroon.

Egypt qualified to the Africa Cup of Nations semi-finals after snatching a 2-1 victory over Morocco.

Cameroon on the other hand advanced to the semi-finals after overcoming Gambia in the quarter-finals with the result of 2-0.

The game is scheduled to take place next Thursday , 3 February at Ahmadou Ahidjo Stadium in Yaoundé, with the winner playing against Senegal or Burkina Faso in the final.

48 hours before the match, the EFA announced that the team will be in full strength after CAF’s regular Covid-19 tests came back negative.
