The Egyptian Committee for the Relief of Gaza’s Residents has continued its humanitarian operations in the Gaza Strip, providing food aid and tents to Palestinian families despite ongoing Israeli bombardment in several areas.
Israeli airstrikes have persisted across eastern parts of the Gaza Strip, with intensified targeting reported in eastern Deir al-Balah and the eastern areas of the Bureij refugee camp in the central governorate. However, the escalation has not halted relief efforts aimed at supporting civilians affected by the ongoing crisis.
Relief teams from the Egyptian Committee are currently operating from their headquarters inside Gaza and have launched the third phase of their humanitarian campaign in the central governorate. This phase includes the distribution of more than 7,790 food parcels to residents in need.
Previous phases of the campaign were carried out in the southern cities of Khan Younis and Rafah. Following the completion of the current stage in central Gaza, the committee plans to expand its operations to Gaza City and northern areas of the enclave.
The assistance provided includes large quantities of flour, assorted food parcels, personal hygiene supplies, and other essential items. In addition, the committee has been distributing tents to families affected by recent winter weather conditions, after heavy rainfall damaged thousands of tents across the Gaza Strip.
The Egyptian Committee continues to supply tents and winter necessities to displaced and affected families throughout Gaza, as humanitarian needs remain acute amid ongoing hostilities and harsh weather conditions.
