Egyptian Ambassador to Mauritania Khaled Youssef discussed with Mauritanian Foreign Minister Mohamed Salem Ould Marzouk the relations of cooperation between the two countries, ways to enhance them, the path of the joint higher committee, and various regional and international issues of common interest.
The ambassador, in statements to the Middle East News Agency today, Tuesday, praised the distinguished relations between Egypt and Mauritania, explaining that the meeting was an opportunity to emphasize the distinguished relations between the two countries, under the leadership of Presidents Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and Mohamed Ould Sheikh Al-Ghazwani.
Youssef added that he assured the Mauritanian Foreign Minister that strengthening relations with Mauritania in all fields was a priority for him as an ambassador to Egypt in Nouakchott.
He also indicated that he assured the Mauritanian Foreign Minister his keenness to enhance cooperation and continue coordination with the Mauritanian Foreign Ministry, in light of the distinguished relations between the two countries, and the mutual support that the two countries provide to each other in various regional and international forums.
During the meeting, the Egyptian ambassador thanked the Mauritanian Foreign Minister for the continuous support for Egypt in the various regional and international nominations.
