Thr Egyptian-Russian Friendship Association, headed by Dr. Ibrahim Kamel, is organizing a celebration on the 65th anniversary of laying the foundation stone of building the High Dam project.
The celebration will be held at seven in the evening on Monday, January 13, at the headquarters of the Russian Cultural Center in Dokki, in the presence of the Russian Ambassador, Georgy Borisenko, and Murad Gatin, Director of the Russian Cultural Centers in Egypt.
The celebration program includes an exhibition of photographs about the epic construction of the High Dam, which is from the archives of the Dam Builders Association. It also displays a short documentary film entitled “The High Dam, Project of the Century.”
