The Egyptian Armed Forces stated on Saturday that the Egyptian-Qatari military committee held its inaugural meeting in Cairo.
Lt. General Osama Askar, the chief of staff of the Egyptian armed forces, and Lt. General Salem bin Hamad Al-Nabit, the chief of staff of the Qatari armed forces, jointly presided over the meeting.
Lt. General Askar stressed the value of future military collaboration and knowledge sharing between the two nations during the conference, noting that there was agreement on collaborative plans that would be advantageous to both nations.
Lt. General Al-Nabit argued that for the benefit of the armed forces of both nations, it is crucial that military and training cooperation be increased throughout the following phase.
The Naval Forces headquarters, the Air Force College, and other industrial structures used by the Armed Services were all inspected by Lt. General Askar and Lt. General Al-Nabit.
