Election Details and Logistics
The elections are a significant event for the Egyptian community in the UAE. The embassy in Abu Dhabi, along with the consulate in Dubai, is ready to welcome voters. Voting stations will be open from 9 am to 9 pm. Identification requirements include a valid or expired national ID card or a machine-readable passport. Tablets and electronic ID card readers are available at the polling stations for registration and voting. Well-trained diplomatic and administrative staff from Egypt's Ministry of Foreign Affairs will assist during the elections.
Voter Turnout Expectations
A high turnout is anticipated among the Egyptian community in the UAE. The embassy has prepared an air-conditioned tent with cold water dispensers to ensure voter comfort. Back Home in Egypt
Egyptians in Egypt will vote from December 10 to December 12. In the case of a second round, it will be held in Egypt from April 24 to April 26. The final results of the first round will be announced on April 2, and on May 1 for a second round, if necessary.
