The Egyptian engineer Mahmoud el-Komy, who received the Geneva Silver for Inventions for the year 2021, has created the world's first Artificial Intelligence (Al)- powered space watch.

El-Komy, 27,  said: "Throughout my life, I aspire to be useful to humanity and prove that young Egyptian youth can compete with technologically advanced countries, as Egypt is great and will soon be declared a great country."

He continued, "According to the theory of relativity of the physicist Einstein, there can be a time difference for two bodies moving at different speed of light, adding that there is a pause in time and a reverse in time."

He pointed out that "the watch works on the same principle as Einstein, as it precedes the speed of light and transmits data. The time difference can provide many live experiences, and through the watch, scientists can reach the speed of light with different energies."

He added that "the watch will be able to move at speeds with time scales with certain differences," noting that he designed it "not only for astronauts, but for scientific research in general, where it can be used later in electronic applications that can go back in time."

He stressed that "the watch will benefit humanity by making access to many things that existed in the past and absorb a very large volume of data and speed in storage."
