The Egyptian Embassy in Beirut stated that a large shipment of Egyptian medical and relief aid is arriving today at Beirut Airport.
It is worth mentioning that, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi held a phone call last Saturday, with Lebanese Prime Minister (PM) Najib Mikati.
According to the official spokesperson for the Egyptian Presidency, the call addressed the Israeli aggression against Lebanon.
President El-Sisi reaffirmed Egypt's full support for Lebanon and its solidarity during these critical times, emphasizing Egypt’s rejection of any threats to Lebanon’s security, stability, sovereignty, or territorial integrity.
He also stressed the need for an immediate, comprehensive, and lasting ceasefire in both Lebanon and Gaza.
