He added that the UK-Africa investment summit, being held in London is a promising opportunity, in light of Egypt’s presidency of the African Union (AU).
Moreover, he noted that Britain is seeking to be a major investor in the African market, ahead of the forthcoming Brexit, via taking measures aimed at enhancing trade between the two sides and increasing its investments in the black continent.
This summit will help promoting Egyptian-British ties in various fields including the investment, economic, political and security ones, according to Ragab.
It is worth mentioning that, the activities of the three-day summit kicked off earlier Monday.
The platform is the largest annual investment event held for the eighth time outside Africa.
The event brings together a large number of African and UK’s leaders, and international institutions as well as major African and British investors.
