Egyptian singer and video creator Mostafa Abo Rawash posted a video with his wife while visiting Uzbekistan, hailing the beauty of the country, especially Tashkent and Samarkand.
The Egyptian singer has visited Tashkent, the cultural capital of the Islamic world and the capital of Uzbekistan. The city has numerous historic mosques and significant Islamic sites, including the Islamic University.
In Tashkent, he and his wife visited Hast Imam library, which it is well-known for having the smallest Quran in the world. The Samarkand Kufic Quran or the Uthman Quran is also kept there.
The couple also visited Tashkent City Park, which has a very large fountain and beautiful vast green spaces and lush trees.
After that, they visited Samarkand by Uzbekistan's premier train, the Afrosiyob, which links Tashkent with Samarkand in just 2 and a half hours.
There, the couple visited Amir Temur Mausoleum Gur-i Amir Сomplex; it was founded to spread Islam. It is the place where Timur, his teacher, and his grandson Muhammad Sultan were buried.
They also visited Ulugh Beg Observatory, which was built by Timurid astronomer Ulugh Beg, the grandson of Temur.
The singer and his wife also visited Shah-i Zinda, which has Islamic antiquities found in the 11th century.
Shah-i Zinda is a necropolis, where Quthum ibn Al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib, Muhammad’s cousin.
According to the Uzbek people’s belief, Shah-i Zinda is a very sacred place.
