EgyptAir is operating today about 40 flights to Paris, Amsterdam, Rome, London, Milan, Istanbul, Khartoum, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Baghdad, Beirut, New York, Washington, Erbil, Jeddah, Dammam, Amman, Medina and Riyadh, in addition to 9 local flights to Sharm El Sheikh, Hurghada and Luxor. All the flights carrying about 4500 passengers.

Earlier, EgyptAir announced operating two flights per week, from the Cairo International airport to Muscat, as well as two other weekly flights to Amman.
The number of the company’s world destinations increased to 47 stops, the statement noted. The company also stated that three direct flights per week from Alexandria to Dubai would be resumed as of October 9.
Noteworthy, Egypt’s Ministery of Civil Aviation, the Egyptian national carrier “EgyptAir”, and a member of the Global Star Alliance signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Ghanaian side to establish a new airline.
This comes in accordance with the directions of the political leadership and the Egyptian government to strengthen the bonds of cooperation, support relations and exchange experiences with the countries of the African continent in various fields, including the aviation industry, and under the umbrella of the Civil Aviation Ministry headed by Pilot Mohamed Manar.
The announcement was made by Pilot Rushdi Zakaria, EgyptAir Holding Company’s Chairman & CEO.
The M.O.U was signed by Mr. Joseph Kofi Ada, Minister of Civil Aviation of Ghana, and Pilot Hassan Mounir, EgyptAir Chairman Deputy, representing the Egyptian side.
Pilot Amr Abu El-Enein, of EgyptAir Airlines’ chairman & CEO, said that the efforts of the Egyptian side to seize the opportunity have been successful, confirming, “We are pleased with the confidence of the Ghanaian government in choosing and preferring EgyptAir among the major European, Asian and African airlines for this strategic partnership in establishing a new airline operates from its headquarter in the Ghanaian capital, Accra, and its network of lines extends throughout Africa, connecting it with countries of North and South America.”
