EgyptAir Maintenance and Engineering Company announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Airbus, which will enhance EgyptAir’s position as a leading company in aircraft maintenance and repair services.
Yehia Zakaria, Chairman of EgyptAir Holding Company, said that under the MoU, EgyptAir will become the first authorized maintenance and repair center for Airbus aircraft in Africa.
On his part, Walid El Khafif, Chairman of EgyptAir Maintenance and Engineering Company, explained that this cooperation will not only enhance our capabilities to provide world-class maintenance services to our customers, but will also contribute to the growth of the aviation industry in Africa, which needs more partnerships to reach a better level.
