On March 3–4, 2023, in Cairo the Abu Dhabi Jiu-Jitsu Pro (AJP) Championship was won by Egypt.
In the competition, which was sponsored by the First Abu Dhabi Bank, the official partner of the championship in Egypt, the UAE and Russia placed second and third, respectively.
The competition attempted to broaden the Jiu-Jitsu community by utilising Egypt's advantageous location. With the sport, it gave people from all over the world the chance to exchange knowledge and cultures.
