The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts extremely hot and humid weather to prevail in Cairo, Lower Egypt, and North Coast, during daylight hours on Sunday. The authority added that there is another increase in temperatures.
Hot and humid weather is also expected to hit South Sinai and the South of the country.
Winds will occur occasionally across the country. In addition, there are various chances for rain and thunder in various parts of Halayeb and Shalateen.
The strong mist will unveil on various highways from and to Cairo.
Furthermore, the Mediterranean Sea will experience low to moderate waves, ranging between 1 and 1.5 meters in height with northwest surface winds.
The Red Sea will experience low waves, ranging between 1.5 and 2 meters in height with northwest surface winds.
Moreover, moderately hot and humid weather is also expected to prevail across the country, at night.
Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 39°C in Cairo, 35°C in Alexandria, 32°C in Matruh, 43°C in Sohag, 44°C in Qena, and 44°C in Aswan.
