The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts extremely hot and humid weather to prevail in Cairo, Lower Egypt, and North Coast, during daylight hours on Friday.
Hot and humid weather is also expected to hit South Sinai and the South of the country.
Winds will occur occasionally across the country.
Furthermore, the Mediterranean Sea will experience low to moderate waves, ranging between 1 and 1.5 meters in height with northwest surface winds.
The Red Sea will experience low waves, ranging between 1.5 and 2 meters in height with northwest surface winds.
Moreover, moderately hot and humid weather is also expected to prevail across the country, at night.
Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 37°C in Cairo, 35°C in Alexandria, 34°C in Matruh, 42°C in Sohag, 42°C in Qena, and 43°C in Aswan.
